Inter-DTC Conference

Welcome to the Inter-DTC Conference page

Here you will find information about the event, as well as registration details.

Conference Wrap-up:

We thought we'd put together a small update now that the conference has passed. We organisers think it was a resounding success, and we hope you'll agree if you were in attendance. We'd also like to make a few acknowledgements: of course, we wish to thank our sponsers for the event, both internal and external; and we'd like to thank all attendees, from those that were simply in attendance, right through to our plenary speakers. Once again, congratulations to all those that won prizes too.

We hope it provided everyone with a good chance to mingle between cohorts and stirred up discussion - certainly the backdrop to the event, the surprise referendum result, made for some interesting discussion on day 2.

We have selected a few of the photographs from the 2 days events to put in the slideshow here. Apologies if we missed anyone! All the photos from the event will be made available to people via dropbox or similar.

The Inter-DTC Conference is an annual meeting for PhD students from a number of Doctoral Training Centres, from across the UK. These DTCs specialise in cross-disciplinary research, answering biological questions from physical sciences perspectives.
