Scott Clarke

Welcome

Hello and welcome to my e-Portfolio, here you can find up-to-date information relating to my professional responsibilities, affiliations, current work, past research experience and much more.

I am a student enrolled at the EPSRC funded doctoral training center for Molecular Organisation and Assembly in Cells (MOAC). I am currently studying for my Ph.D. in The Balasubramanian Group at The Gibbet Hill Campus of Warwick Medical School, under the co-supervision of Prof. Mohan Balasubramanian, Dr. Karuna Sampath, Dr. Masanori Mishima, and Prof. Matthew Turner. My research focuses upon cleavage plane specification, as well as assembly and constriction of the contractile ring during cytokinesis in zebrafish. We endeavour to achieve this through a multidisciplinary approach in which we employ genomics, biochemistry, in-vitro reconstitution, live-cell microscopy and mathematical modelling.
