Pier-Emmanuel Tremblay

I am Assistant Professor in the Astronomy and Astrophysics group since September 2015 and ERC Starting Grant fellow from June 2016 to June 2021. From 2013 to 2015 I was a Hubble Fellow at Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, and from 2011 to 2013 I was an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at the Zentrum für Astronomie Heidelberg. I obtained my PhD at Université de Montréal (2011). I am interested in white dwarfs and stars as physics laboratories and probes of Galactic history. I develop model atmospheres and 3D radiation-hydrodynamical simulations.
