The UK 850 MHz Solid-State NMR Facility conference publicity funding

From 2020, funding is no longer available for this scheme

In order to facilitate the publicising of the capabilities of solid-state NMR to new users, the UK 850 MHz Solid-State NMR Facility offers support for PIs or PDRAs to present results at UK conferences. To be eligible for funding: The PI or PDRA must be presenting (in the form of a talk or a poster) substantial results obtained at the UK 850 MHz Solid-State NMR Facility. The conference must take place in the UK. This funding is not for NMR meetings. A maximum of 1 application per research group per calendar year will be permitted. Normally, no more than one scientist will be supported for the same conference – in the case where more than one application is made, support will be made on a first come first served basis. The maximum award will be £500. Your application must be submitted at least two months before the conference. For more information please contact the scheme coordinator Professor Stephen Wimperis (s.wimperis@lancaster.ac.uk)
