English for Global Communication (EGC) Summer School

The University of Warwick’s English for Global Communication (EGC) Summer School is designed for undergraduate students from global universities. It consists of tuition at the University of Warwick with a focus on the development of English language and intercultural skills. It is designed to equip students with the skills, strategies and competencies that are needed in today's globally connected world.

The programme provides an opportunity to meet with students of different nationalities from other universities, experience academic and campus life at one of the top global universities and enjoy a programme of social events and cultural visits.

What's included?

Stay on campus in one of our student halls of residences. Your accommodation will include your own bedroom, shared bathroom and kitchen and a communal space for socialising.

 

Day trips will include London, Warwick Castle, Shakespeare’s Stratford Upon Avon and Oxford including ticket and transport.

 

Airport pickups and a bus pass to allow you to explore the local area.

Full registration as a Warwick student with access to campus facilities.

A welcome meal or BBQ.

Weekly sports and social events.

An-end-of-course Certificate of Attendance and final day dinner.

EGC 3 week Summer School (8 -26 July 2024)

EGC 4 week Summer School (5 – 30 August 2024)

Price to include a full programme of academic content, on campus accommodation, trips to London, Oxford, Stratford-Upon-Avon and Warwick including travel and tickets, sports and social events, welcome and end of course meals and a University of Warwick certificate.
