Evidence Base on Faith Communities

The aim of this project was to identify the characteristics of the Hindu, Sikh and Muslim faith communities in England, and highlight the considerations which the ODPM had to be aware of in ensuring that its policies were inclusive and relevant to the needs of these communities. The project involved a review of the research literature on these communities, covering economic conditions, housing, planning and public services in particular, and the analysis of quantitative data on these communities.
