CTE Awards Evening 2017

We have the great pleasure of inviting you to the 3rd CTE Annual Awards Evening on the 13th October 2017.

Come celebrate the completion of your PGCE and your achievements at Warwick with friends from your course and your tutors.

The Awards Evening will be held in the Panorama Suite of the Rootes Building on Warwick University Main Campus.

Starting at 7pm with a drinks reception followed at 7.30pm by a 3 course meal, awards and an after-dinner speech by our guest speaker - and it's FREE!

The dress code for the evening is smart clothing. Sadly, numbers are limited so only Award Nominees may bring a +1

If you have been nominated for an award you will be contacted in advance of the event. Click here for a list of the 2016 Winners

Please register for a place here.

We are pleased to announce our key note speaker is David Didau.

The Learning Spy is widely recognised as one of the most influential education blogs in the UK and has won a number of awards. In February 2017, David Didau recorded 2.5 million visitors to The Learning Spy site.

Ofsted started listening. In 2014 he consulted on the Inspection Handbook and made a commitment to common sense and practical humanity which has resulted in lesson observation grades being scrapped and inspectors asked to ‘look at’ classroom practice and ask questions, rather than ‘look for’ preferred methodologies.
