CAGE Research Associate Christoph Koenig Best Paper Award

We are pleased to announce that CAGE Research Associate and former PhD student Christoph Koenig has won this year's Best Paper Award at the 70th Econometric Society European Meeting (ESEM) which took place in Lisbon, Portugal.

Two prizes were awarded on the day for the best papers in applied economics (broadly taken to include applied theory, empirical economics, experimental economics, and computational economics) and had to be presented by young researchers within ten years of their PhD.

Christoph's awarding winning paper on 'Dynamics in Gun Ownership and Crime - Evidence from the Aftermath of Sandy Hook' joint with David Schindler was evaluated and ranked highest by the Program Committee Members. The Committee Members examine all papers that are submitted carefully to ensure they satisfied the conditions.
