Lantra is the Sector Skills Council for the environmental and land-based sector. It is licensed by the UK government to drive forward the new skills, training and business development agenda for the sector. The Lantra website has information on all 17 industries in the sector, vacancies, careers and labour market information.

A job in... website, managed by Lantra, has information on jobs in the environmental and land-based sector. It is aimed at young people and contains: information on specific industries in the sector; information on apprenticeships, work-based training and full-time study; details of college and training providers; information on gaining work experience and volunteering positions; plus case studies.

A future in… environmental and land-based careers website, managed by Lantra, is aimed at adults contains detailed information on jobs in by sector industries. Information on each industry includes: industry roles; the skills and qualifications needed; specific industry information; case studies; and useful links. The website also has information on qualifications in the sector.
