LLM in IDLHR 2004-2005
I would certainly recommend this course for lawyers keen on a career in the development sector. Its interdisciplinary approach helps develop an ability to draw cross-sectoral linkages and engage professionals in other disciplines. It is research intensive and designed to develop a systematic and methodical approach to issues.
The committed faculty and fellow students from diverse backgrounds (which included, civil servants from developing countries, activists and employees of inter-governmental organisations etc.) made the course and time spent at the School of Law both memorable and rewarding.
Where are they now?
I am now working as an Advocate & Consultant in India. The IDLHR course has helped me immensely in my consulting career which includes drafting legislations for several government departments in India and advising think tanks on issues pertaining to utility regulation.
