Why Warwick?

After having completed my Chartered Accountancy and Chartered Secretary courses in India and gained substantial work experience in the field of auditing for a few years, I was looking for a course that would provide me with more specialization and an edge over the others in my field. The LLM course at the University of Warwick provided me just that. The design of the course is such that it provides a complete balance of the practical insights and its theoretical development and relevance on various subjects.

Best Bits!

With this course, I have been able to enhance my knowledge and have an overall idea of both the legal and financial aspects within corporations. Also, due to the strict criteria of student selection, the LLM course allowed me to interact with professionals who are well established in their respective jurisdictions, which was also an excellent learning experience. Not only this, life at Warwick has been an amazing and memorable experience with its extremely supportive academic and non-academic staff and fantastic facilities. I can never thank Warwick enough for giving me the best year of my life and some of my closest friends, not just from my own country but from others as well.

Where are they now?

I am currently working with Tata Technologies Europe Limited as an Accounts and Tax Analyst and handle their compliance and taxation matters. After completing my Chartered Accountancy from India, the LLM in International Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation from such an esteemed university as Warwick, helped a great deal in getting a position in which I can utilise the skills and knowledge I obtained in both finance and law, particularly international taxation and corporate law. The international exposure at Warwick has also helped me to grow as a person.
