Background  

I started working as journalist, writing legal and political columns in Iranian reformist newspapers, after graduating with a law degree. As a legal advisor with Iran NGOs Initiative, I worked on law reform of Iranian NGOs. I also have served as consultant for a range of national and international bodies including UNICEF, UNDP, Ministry of Interior, Center for Women Partnership Affairs (Presidential Office), Ministry of Agriculture and Iranian NGOs Training Center. I was involved as trainer/facilitator with more than 20 training national and regional training workshops on law, development and the third sector. In 2005, I started initiating the justice education (clinical legal education and legal aid clinic) in Iran. Subsequently, I was- co founder of first Iranian justice education programme in Mofid University, 2006.
