WLS Alumna shares application top tips in Legal Cheek article

Sophia Hesling, who studied on our Law 3 year LLB degree and graduated this summer, has written an article for Legal Cheek sharing her top tips to application success. The article ‘What I wish I knew before applying for training contracts’ was published on 1 September 2022. Sophia is an events coordinator for Legal Cheek and a future trainee at Eversheds Sutherland.

Law Alumni Inspire Current Students

Staff, LLM students and Warwick alumni came together last month to discuss career opportunities and the realities of life after graduation. The Alumni/LLM Employability and Networking reception took place down at our Warwick in London offices near Kings Cross, and offered current students the opportunity to learn from the experiences of our law alumni and seek advice about their futures.

Information for students: Qualifying as a solicitor - A New Route

Following the announcement from The Solicitors’ Regulation Authority about a new route to qualifying as a solicitor, the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE), we want to reassure all current Warwick Law students that they will continue to have the option to seek qualification as a Solicitor in the way currently expected (by the LPC route following graduation with a qualifying degree).

All students have been emailed with relevant guidance and as more information about the SQE becomes available we will provide further clarity.
