Policy Papers

In December 2017 we will publish a policy paper containing feasible and practical proposals for how the EU equality law framework can be improved. Based in an understanding of the incrimental and contingent development of EU equality law and policy, these papers will suggest how this legal framework could be rethought to more effectively respond to claims for equality, and redesigned to more coherently articulate with other areas of social policy, such as those that relate to opportunities in employment, reconciliation of work and family, and organization of care. The proposals will be extensively consulted and co-developed with input from a broad range of policy actors, including EU policy makers and enforcers, civil society groups, and representatives of labour. We hope that through dialogue and collaboration our proposals will be more likely to have an impact on policy and practice.

Please check this site in the coming months for further updates on the papers.
