Margaret graduated in Law from Birmingham University and trained at Wragge & Co. Birmingham. She subsequently became a partner in a Midlands firm of solicitors before setting up her own practice. She developed an interest in teaching, which she pursued alongside practice but has now left practice. She has considerable experience in teaching, development and management of academic and practical law courses at undergraduate and post-graduate level, with a particular interest in Property Law and Wills and Trusts.
She has lectured at Warwick University (as well as several other providers on a freelance basis) since 2008.
