Outreach student
The department of Politics and International Studies holds a number of outreach events which are aimed at encouraging students to engage with the study of politics.

Outreach – The Politics department works both directly with schools and institutions across the country as well as through some of the University of Warwick's dedicated outreach initiatives to increase access to the study of Politics. Sessions have included 50 years of Bond, Bowie and Politics and the Politics of Football.

Widening participation – In addition to working through several of the University's dedicated widening participation teams with prioritised school communities local to the University, the department holds Pathways to Politics days aimed at Year 10 and Year 12 days, outreach days at our partner schools and Summer Schools aimed at Year 7. The department has also taken part in the Sutton Trust Summer School.

In addition to our yearly programmes the department runs a number of projects aimed at increasing engagement with our schools such as the Colonial Hangover project and a Pathways to Education day.
