FAQ

  • We warmly invite PAIS students to our first year welcome meeting on Monday 2nd October at 5pm. This will be held in MS0.1 which is in the Mathematics and Statistics (Zeeman) building.
  • The meeting will provide you with lots of essential information and will answer many of the questions you may have.
  • Due to the importance of the meeting, attendance is compulsory for all those on our PAIS administered degrees (Politics; Politics and International Studies; Politics and Sociology; Politics, International Studies and Quantitative Methods; and Politics and a Modern Language - French, German, Italian and Hispanic studies). An attendance sheet will be distributed on the day for everyone to sign.
  • If you have a very good reason why you cannot attend please do contact the Undergraduate Office (paisug@warwick.ac.uk) in advance.
  • The welcome meeting will be followed by an exciting Question Time event. Full details available here
  • Please note: there are no other PAIS lectures or PAIS seminars on the Monday of week 1. All you need to attend is our welcome meeting.

PAIS Social Events

  • PAIS hold a number of social events and activities throughout the year. We will be in touch with more details about these. These are a great opportunity to meet and get to know other PAIS students and to talk to academic and administrative staff from the Department in an informal environment.
