Research Consultancy Experience

Spring 2009 - Leeds University Business School

During the spring of 2009 I was made part of a three-person strong research team at Leeds University Business School (LUBS) with the purpose of carrying out the research for a consultancy study for a major public organisation concerning executive management development for redundant managers in the corporate sector in the Yorkshire & Humber region. The team produced a research report proposing management development schemes for redundant executives in the corporate sector. The team was overseen by Professor Richard Thorpe, Head of Management Division (LUBS) and Deputy Director of the Keyworth Institute, in collaboration with other research administrative and career management staff within the University.

My main task was to conduct and analyse in-depth interviews with relevant academic experts at various business schools in the Yorkshire & Humber region. I produced a sub-report on main findings. In addition, I participated in discussions within the research team and beyond relating to the overall project proposal.
