Profile
I completed my PhD in PAIS in 2020, and I'm excited to be back in the role of Teaching Fellow. Prior to my PhD, I completed an MPhil in Multi-disciplinary Gender Studies at the University of Cambridge and an MSc in International and European Politics at the University of Edinburgh.
Research Interests
My research interests include:
- International security
- Feminist IR theory
- The United Nations
- Humanitarian intervention and the Responsibility to Protect
- Discourses of protection and vulnerability in UN policy language
- Non-military masculinities in UN language and institutional culture
Teaching
For the 2023-24 academic year I'll be teaching PO231: International Security and PO382: Vigilant State: Understanding Secret Intelligence.
