In her PhD research project, Giulia analysis the recent changes in the global security architecture and assess strengths and weaknesses of an inter-regional approach to global crisis response. More specifically, this research project has the objective to explore the level of cooperation between the EU, and other regional organisations like ASEAN, the Arab League and the African Union in responding to man-made and natural disasters, and the possibility of developing a common information flow system.
Giulia focuses on EU as a Global Actor, EU Crisis Response and Civil Protection, EU Conflict Prevention and Crisis Management, CFSP/CSDP, EEAS, Comprehensive Approach, Global Governance and inter-regionalism, as well as on Innovative Teaching Methods.
