On 20th September 2017 Kat Hadjimatheou held a training workshop for the first cohort of new members of Gloucestershire Constabulary's Ethics Committee, which she chairs.

Tom Sorell and Jethro Butler participated in the Cybersecurity Ideas Cafe - a public engagement event hosted by the University of Warwick in Leamington Spa. Tom spoke briefly on Health and Cybersecurity before facilitating roundtable discussions on security issues relating to telehealth, telecare, and smart homes.

On 4th July 2017 Kat Hadjimatheou presented her paper 'Neither Confirm nor Deny: Secrecy and Disclosure in Undercover Policing' (forthcoming Dec.2017, Criminal Justice Ethics) at an event organized by the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies entitled 'Can Undercover Policing be Held to Account?'.
