I-Triage

I-TRIAGE overall objective is to improve preparedness of CBRN incidents responders and crisis managers to triage by integrating existing tools and developing new solutions to enhance significantly the access of all actors to the relevant information regarding the numerous aspects of triage after an accidental or an organized CBRN incident with a large number of people affected. The resulting solution will optimize the triage, reduce the uncertainty and facilitate decision making on triage resources estimation, planning and logistics for first responders and crisis managers. All the components will be separately and jointly tested and validated throughout the project by the operators, crisis managers, technology suppliers, users training professionals and general public representatives to ensure the quality and full applicability of the developed and integrated solutions for the CBRN triage response.

Professor Sorell will be acting as the Project's Ethics advisor producing ethical evaluation of agreed upon deliverables produced by the project.
