Double Degree with Universitat Pompeu Fabra

Combine a year of study in the heart of England and a year studying by the sea in Cataluña at two of Europe's leading politics departments, through two exciting pathways offered jointly by Warwick and the Political and Social Sciences Department at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona.

Studying in two different countries is inherently beneficial: in addition to exploring your subject from two different starting points, you will develop your intercultural skills and experience and enhance your ability to adapt to new situations. Furthermore, you will be able to improve your prospects beyond the MA course as employers and reputable universities worldwide recognise the academic excellence of Warwick and UPF graduates.

The student experience

upf

I chose to study at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona because I knew that the university was well known throughout Spain for its specialism in economics and business, and also because I had been told that Barcelona was an extremely cosmopolitan city. During my time studying in Barcelona I learnt about many different cultures; I remember in the first meeting that we had, there were students from Germany, Japan, Latvia, literally from all over the world.
Furthermore, studying at the UPF really enriched my learning experience as it taught me about the micro-side to politics; we often looked at individual country profiles, which was helpful in building my knowledge of politics within the overall structure of the international political system that I had studied at Warwick. Overall Barcelona is an amazing city and I would highly recommend any student to study there!
