Energy Security

Energy security is an important and timely topic for students of politics and international relations. It implies that a country or region has a reliable and affordable supply of energy to power their economy and meet the needs of their citizens. This module will ask important questions such as: What are the political implications of our energy dependence? Is energy cooperation possible? Is oil a curse? Do renewable energy sources increase energy security? What are the main challenges of our dependence on fossil fuels for the economy and the environment?
