Research Activities

As one of the biggest philosophy departments in the UK, the Department fosters a range of research interests. It has particular research strengths in philosophy and literature, the philosophy of mind & language, and post-Kantian European philosophy. Many staff engage in interdisciplinary research and the department has a powerful record of successful research grant income.
