Graduate Seminar Series

Seminar Jan 11th 2017

WE ARE RECRUITING!!!

We would like to invite any interested doctoral students to join the organising committee for 2017-18 academic year. We welcome the involvement of PhDs from across all departments.

Being part of the committee is a great opportunity to get experience in organising conferences and to make connections with interesting postgraduate researchers.

The role involves drafting and sending out the call for abstracts, peer reviewing them, managing the budget, as well as planning, promoting, and running the seminars.

We aim to run approximately 5 seminars per term in the autumn and spring terms depending on the number of abstracts submitted. These tasks are undertaken within a supportive team.

We are recruiting now so we are able to induct new members into the team throughout term 2 so as to enable the incoming members fist hand experience of running the seminars.

Thus, attendance at forthcoming seminar is required - at least one out of Weds 25th Jan; Weds 8th Feb; Weds 22nd Feb; Weds 8th March.

Please could anyone who is interested get in contact with Carli Rowell by 12pm on Friday 13th January 2017 via c dot r dot rowell at warwick dot ac dot uk with a short 150 word bio.
