Researchers from across the university have recently been awarded the first round of Warwick impact funding.

The Warwick Impact Fund (WIF) provides funding to support non-academic impact from leading research, to help transform research into impact on society, the economy, and on the health and well-being of the population.

The 2017/2020 WIF programme was launched earlier this year and so far it has funded 28 projects from 19 departments across the Science, Medical, Social Science and Arts faculties.

These awards include support for a wide range of impact related activities which will contribute to helping our research stand out on the global stage by maximising the excellence, impact and contribution of each of our disciplines.

The second round of WIF will open in September and the deadline for submissions is 5pm, on 16 October 2017. You can find more information on how to apply here.
