Latest table gives University of Warwick a full house of top 100 world rankings

Campus with Festival of ImaginationThe University of Warwick has now achieved a full house of the top 100 university world rankings, as the Times Higher Education (THE) declares today, Thursday 1st October 2015, that Warwick has leapt 23 places to be ranked 80th in the world in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2015-16.

Warwick is now in the top 100 of every major university world ranking. This is Warwick’s best ever result in the history of these three league tables.

In September the QS annual World University Rankings named Warwick as one of the world’s top 50 universities rising 13 places to be ranked 48th overall. In April 2015 QS also ranked 10 subjects at Warwick to be in the world’s top 50 and a total of 15 to be in the top 100.

In August the Shanghai Jiao Tong Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), ranked Warwick 92nd in the world in that table, a jump of 96 places on the previous year’s ranking. This table has a particular focus on science making Warwick’s achievement in being ranked in the top 100 even more noteworthy as Warwick is a University that teaches and researches across a full range of disciplines. That ranking also declared Warwick to be 13th in the world for Mathematics and 34th for Economics and Business.

Warwick also continues to be highly ranked in UK university league tables. In last month’s Times and Sunday Times Warwick rose to 6th place overall in their league table of UK universities and was declared Campus University of the Year.
