Turing Fellows at Warwick

About

Turing Fellows are established scholars with proven research excellence in data science, artificial intelligence, or a related field. They drive collaborative projects that deliver social and economic impact, help grow the research capacity of their University and the Alan Turing Institute, and contribute to the network of universities, industry partners, third sector organisations and government.

Working with the Turing can open up collaboration opportunities and attract interest and engagement from prospective partners. Fellowships cover a broad view of AI, including applications across maths, statistics, computational sciences, healthcare and engineering to help tackle real-world problems.

Turing AI Fellowships

In November 2020, three Warwick academics were awarded Turing AI Acceleration Fellowships, in which they will develop novel AI techniques, which could have wide-ranging impact, for example through developing digital twins that can aid us in modelling and understanding air pollution and teaching robots how to collaborate amongst themselves and the world.
