Warwick University has set up a relocation information service to help new staff members and visiting academics find accommodation in the nearby area.
The service has been created to combine the relevant information and search tools needed to provide an overview of what you need to consider when relocating to the University, particularly from overseas.
The tools provided should enable you to find convenient short term accommodation on arrival. It will also assist in providing a good understanding of the letting process and local area background information so that you can make a start on thinking about where you want to live and how to prepare for securing a property for the duration of your stay.
Families that are new to the area can get an insight into the local childcare and schooling facilities.
Transport links have been given in order to make your arrival and departure as stress free and convenient as possible.
We have also provided an enquiry form so that you can be kept up to date with local properties should you need help with your initial property search.
Please be aware that if you have been allocated a relocation package you must follow the policies and procedures set out by Human Resources regarding removal and relocation expenses. This is highlighted in the HR Policies section.
