- Departments asked to provide details of new nominations and confirm re-nominations of continuing appointments.
Autumn/Spring Terms

New nominations considered by Steering Committee.
- (Re-)appointment letters sent to External Examiners, with Notes of Guidance/report forms and including current year’s rates of payment.
Summer Term
- Claim forms and additional copy of report form circulated to Externals and to exam board secretaries.
Summer Term/Summer Vacation
- As reports received, fees/expenses paid to Externals.
Summer Vacation/Autumn Term
- Externals’ reports circulated to Chairs of Departments.
Autumn Term onwards
- Departments’ pro-forma replies to reports circulated to Externals.
