Who is it for? Students who have experienced the death of someone close – a parent, friend, boy/girlfriend, sibling, etc
Content In this session you will cover:
  • Sharing with others to look at their experiences too
  • Developing some useful ways of thinking about bereavement
  • Thinking about some differences between simple and complex loss
  • Exploring how these might relate to how you feel
  • Recognising how grief fits into the student experience
What will I get out of this? By the end of the session you will have gained an understanding of:
  • Some sense of being less alone in your loss
  • A chance to express and explore in a safe environment what you feel
  • A number of possible ways to think about loss
  • The opportunity to think about ways forward for you
