Salary Costs Oct 2008 (pension Oct 09)

The following figures assume that the employee is in a pension scheme (USS for scales 5 and above, UPS for scales 1-4) and is also in PensionPlus.

Employer pension contributions are 19.85% for UPS and 16% for USS. Employers NI contribution is from April 2009.

Salary is at 1st October 2008 levels.
