University administration and records

IT Services supports university-wide administrative systems that store and process student and staff data. The support teams in ITS work closely with the central services, such as the Academic Registrar's Office and HR, to ensure the applications satisfy administrative requirements.

Applications hosted and managed by IT Services include SITS:Vision (Applications for postgraduate and undergraduate courses, Student records, Examinations, Student Finance etc), Module Registration Manager (Approval of student module choices), PSEnterprise (for HR/Payroll) and the Cognos Datawarehouse and Reporting suite (for Research dashboards, applications statistics, teaching load, HR reports etc).


A number of applications are hosted by IT Services but managed by the business area that is reponsible for the processes supported by the apoplications. Details of IT Services hosting arrangements are here. Such applications include InfoEd, managed by RSS, and Kinetic, managed by WCG, and SAP, managed by the SAP team in the Finance Office.
