Lecture capture is the recording of lectures, seminars and any other content that goes with them.
Warwick's lecture capture service uses Echo360. It's made up of both hardware such as cameras and microphones, and software that is used to edit, distribute and view your recordings. There are two recording methods available: Automated Lecture Capture, which is available in the larger lecture theatres and Personal Capture which you can use in your office, seminar room (on a laptop) or at home. Students are able to view your recordings in the interactive Echo Player.
From September 2017, student access for lecture recordings is through Moodle. Find out more on our FAQ.
