No. In certain exceptional circumstances such as an error in your name or the number of characters in your name make the alias unwieldy we can try to find you an alternative email address.

Note that the inclusion of a number in your email address is NOT in itself considered to be detrimental to work or career. In fact, many people across all parts of the University have email addresses with a number in – even some very senior ones.
