Payment System

IT Services has created a payment solution to sit between your application and the Transaction Tracking System and simplify any custom development.

The purpose of the payment system is to-

  • Extract from your system, via a simple query, a list of products that your customer has selected, might like to purchase or in some cases must purchase. These will have been preset or chosen within your application.
  • To display this list to the customer as a shopping basket with quantity and price, the ability to select or de-select items. All in a colour/graphic scheme customised for your specific application.
  • To total the value and forward the user to the university’s payment provider for clearing.
  • To automatically handle the response and run a query or action (against your system or database) to fulfil each payment as it is cleared.

Payment 4

The payment system is a simple extension to TTS but works with it to provide online payment functionality where it did not previously exist. Some development work will still be required to integrate your local application, develop the look and feel of your payment pages and to automatically ‘fulfil‘ orders. However the Payment application provides a robust framework into which just the specific applications requirements need to be built with a minimum time to go-live.
