What does 'Write follow-up' mean?

‘Write follow-up’ allows you to create an entry that is linked to an entry that you previously wrote on your blog. This is particularly useful when you are developing an idea or writing about a series of events that happen over time.

To write a follow-up, you must first be signed into your blog with your IT Services username and password.

  1. Underneath the entry that you want to link to and continue writing about, you should see a link called ‘Write follow-up’. Click on the ‘Write follow-up’ link.

Click on the 'Write follow-up link' at the bottom of the entry

The create entry screen will appear.
  2. Write the entry in the normal way. Note that BlogBuilder has automatically included a link to the entry that you are writing about.
  3. Click the ‘Publish now’ button Publish Now button.

You should see that a new entry has been created on your blog with a link back to the previous entry.

Your new entry will be created with a link to the original entry you are writing about
