In the ID7 common website template, the search box is at the right of the masthead and is more prominent. We've removed the options to scope a search up front – for example, by current site, people or blogs – in favour of a simple text box:

As you start typing your search query, you'll see suggestions for potential matches pop up. These potential matches are from the Go addresses (short redirects) created for particular sites:

 

On the search results page, you'll see options to refine your search further.
