Sitebuilder 2.225 was released on 22nd March 2011. Highlights from this release include:

Better "pop-over" Lightbox behaviour for thumbnail images

When inserting thumbnail images into the page (and on pages that show thumbnails to images such as Image Galleries or Table of Tags pages) we have moved to the Shadowbox.js library, which gives a nicer interface and fixes some problems with the old library such as when images were too large to be displayed on the screen.

All current thumbnail images have automatically been upgraded to the new version.

Outlook events with resource bookings

When you make a booking on a resource booking page, we now send an Outlook event (in iCalendar format) that will allow you to add the booking to your Outlook calendar automatically. This also works with Live@Edu student email and GMail, as well as various other email/calendar providers.

New API documentation

For developers who wish to use programs to automatically create, modify and remove pages and files in Sitebuilder, we have rewritten the API documentation to make it easier to read and to provide a list of the current APIs that Sitebuilder supports.

General fixes and improvements

• The Flash video player has been upgraded to a new version, which provides better support for error messages and better performance
• The interactive map now supports Internet Explorer 9
• The video scrub bar now works for right-aligned videos in Google Chrome
• A bug was fixed that caused some Resource Bookings pages to break when Daylight Savings Time came into effect
• The default options for slideshow pages were tweaked to make them more similar to the old options before they were migrated to use MonoSlideshow 2
