How do I link to a location on the campus map?

If the location is on campus, in SiteBuilder you can provide a link to that location on your web page. When clicked, a pop-up shows the location on a map.

  1. Go to the page you want to add the link to.
  2. Go to Edit > Edit centre content or Edit right content as appropriate.
  3. Highlight the text you want to turn into a link.
  4. In the toolbar, select Link options... > Map link.
  5. In the Insert map link window, start typing a room or building name to see potential matches. Select the correct location from the results:

  6. You'll see text similar to the following add to your page:

    [map location='Humanities Reception' lid='21392']Humanities Reception[/map]
  7. When you have finished editing your page, select the Publish button at the top right.
  8. On your published page, when you click the link you can see the map in a pop-up:
