Delete pages

Removing a page from SiteBuilder is a two-step process which involves first deleting a page, then purging it. You can restore deleted pages if required; purged pages cannot be recovered. For this reason, we do not recommend purging pages unless you're absolutely sure you will not need them again.

Important: When a page is deleted, any files or sub-pages under it are also deleted.

In this article:

Delete pages

  1. Browse to the page you want to delete.

  2. Go to Edit > More in the top right user menu:

  3. In the Manage page section, select Delete this page:

  4. A pop-up informs you that you're about to delete the current page and provides a summary of any sub-pages, files, or forwarding pages under the page:

  5. To continue, select Delete.

Tip: After deleting selected page(s), we recommend you check your remaining live pages to make sure that everything is still working correctly. This way, if a page was deleted by accident, for example, or if it contains files or images required by other pages, you can restore the deleted page.

  1. Browse to the parent page above the deleted page(s).

  2. Go to Edit > More, then select the Sub-pages tab. Deleted pages are struck out and have a red DELETED label:
