Add equations to a quiz with LaTeX

SiteBuilder supports LaTeX markup, which you can use to show mathematical equations in a quiz.
  1. Go to your quiz.
  2. Select Edit > Edit quizbuilder page.
  3. Edit the relevant question or start a new question.
  4. Enter the equation using LaTex markup in the Question, Choice or Feedback boxes. Put the equation inside a [latex] tag – for example:

    [latex]s = \frac{(u + v)t}{2}[/latex]
  5. For accessibility purposes, please also include alt text for your LaTeX code. You can do this by adding alt = '' in the LaTeX tag - for example:
    [latex alt = 'x equals minus b plus or minus the square root of b squared minus four a c all over 2a']
  6. Select Save.
  7. When you have finished editing the quiz, select Done. Check that you can see an image of the equation in the published quiz – for example:

    s = \frac{(u + v)t}{2}
