Visitors expect a good experience on your website, whether they're using a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.

SiteBuilder and mobile devices

All websites using the SiteBuilder ID7 template automatically display appropriately for the screen size being used to view the website. As the screen width narrows, content automatically reflows into fewer columns. On the smallest screen sizes, such as an iPhone, content reflows into a single column. This makes websites easier to view and navigate on mobile devices.

Test your website on mobile devices

When you've built your website, test it out on as many mobile devices as you can. It's important to experience using your own website on a mobile device, particularly the homepage if you've designed it yourself.

This experience can give you ideas to:

  • Improve your copy text even further to get key information across at the top of the page
  • Include more links in the body text – not just in a sidebar, which reflows to the bottom of the page on small screens
  • Optimise button size and placement
