Microsoft's Remote Desktop Service (RDS) at Warwick has been designed to provide access to a defined set of applications running centrally, subject to permissions granted by application owners. Users who do not have permission to access them will not be able to see any applications.
Currently the applications available are:
To access either SAP or SITS you will need to have login credentials for that application. In addition, to access either application using Remote Desktop Services you will need to request access from IT Services. To do this, please click here. Once there choose 'order a service', then click ‘add/remove 'Access permissions on a managed windows desktop' under the Software and Applications section.
Please be aware that when saving files you should only save to the H: drive.
Can I print from the applications when using RDS?
Printing is possible from Windows, Linux and Mac computers.
The printers that appear in the "Print" window will be the ones installed on your computer. The only difference is that they will be re-named with a "redirected" suffix.
When printing from a Linux or Mac computer, the driver that the RDS Service will choose may not exactly match the physical printer, and this means that not all printer functionality may be available.
