Window on Warwick: Exam Board Practice

Helping to sign-post people to the relevant policies, guidance and regulations that govern undergraduate Examinations Boards

Who is it for?

All administrative and academic staff who will be supporting the summer Examinations Boards for undergraduate courses. It will be particularly helpful for those colleagues who have not supported an Examinations Board previously.

Session Objectives:

The session will help to sign-post people to the relevant policies, guidance and regulations, together with providing brief overviews on:

- Progression;

- Re-assessment;

- Mitigating circumstances and absences due to medical reasons;

- Degree classification;

- The remit/power of Examinations Boards; and,

- The process for handling appeals.
