The broadcasts of Richard Crossman

Richard Crossman and Harold Wilson in a television studio

The archives of Richard Crossman, former Cabinet Minister and Labour Member of Parliament for Coventry East, include transcriptions of many radio and television programmes broadcast between 1934-1974. The majority of these transcripts have now been digitised and are fully searchable online.

Research into the broadcasts has been funded as part of the Undergraduate Research Scholarship Scheme. The results of this study helps to put the broadcasts in context by looking at Crossman's life, career and beliefs.

Extracts from the sound recordings of Crossman's diaries are available elsewhere on the MRC website.
