Spin Out Companies: Engineering

The School of Engineering is one of the largest of its type in the UK. There are approximately 130 academic and teaching staff, 300 research staff, and 1,200 postgraduates following taught programmes or undertaking research.

Warwick is one of the few universities which has a unified department covering, and wherever possible integrating, most branches of Engineering. It is large, thriving, well-equipped and active in many fields of teaching and research, and has, in addition, won numerous training awards. As well as the renowned International Manufacturing Centre housing state-of-the-art laser equipment and machining facilities, there are a number of specialist units such as Computational Fluid Dynamics and the Development Technology Unit. The School has extensive links with industry, illustrated by the International Automotive Research Centre.
