Career support

The University of Warwick is the most targetted university in the country by employers* and its Student Careers service and Student Development and Skills enable our students at all levels to devise and implement their lifelong learning career plans, advising on the range of employment opportunities open to you. The centre supports students in increasing their self awareness, developing new skills and making decisions about future plans.

CLL students offer employers evidence of their ability to manage a blend of life and work experience that graduate recruiters look for in their selection processes. Typically, CLL graduates will be committed, motivated, good time managers and be able to work effectively with a diverse range of people. All Warwick students get the chance to network with employers at careers fairs on campus and through local volunteering opportunities facilitated by Warwick Volunteers.

Those with existing work records can add to their appeal through higher education study, developing critical thinking, creative problem-solving and effective report writing skills as well as adding specific knowledge to their practical experience.
