Your Accommodation

Applicants holding an offer to study the Warwick International Foundation Programme in 2017/2018 will be eligible to apply for prioritised accommodation within Sherbourne on the University of Warwick campus.

For the 2017/2018 academic year, IFP students allocated to campus will be accommodated together in flats with other IFP students. To create a community within the hall you will not be able to apply for or transfer to other halls on campus.

Ready to apply?

In order to apply for IFP accommodation you must:

  • Have received a conditional or unconditional offer to study the Warwick IFP in the 2017/2018 academic year; and
  • Apply using the dedicated Warwick IFP Accommodation Form (below) on or before 31 July 2017

Please note that students that apply after this date will be supported by the Warwick Accommodation Team to find alternative accommodation off campus.

What information is needed to apply?

To apply for accommodation you need to have your seven digit Warwick ID Number. On the application form you will be asked to provide details about yourself such as your name, date of birth and contact details. Please make sure that the name you provide on the accommodation application form matches the one you used to apply for your course (your official name).

The application form will also ask for information about you which will help us to allocate you with into flats with other students. You will be asked questions about the following:

If you would prefer to be allocated to a single-gender area - Stating a preference for a single-gender area is not a guarantee that you will be placed in one, as most flats are mixed sex, but a small number will be single-gender.

Please give details of any disability or medical conditions which will affect the type of accommodation you require - If you have a disability or medical condition that affects your accommodation needs please read the information at Medical Applications.

You will be asked to provide a brief description of yourself- About your interests, your character (lively/quiet), what time you generally go to bed and any likes and dislikes. This information helps us to group you with other applicants so the more information you provide the better able we are to group you with people like you.

What next?

Once you have completed and submitted your application form on or before 31 July you will receive an automatic email confirmation.

If you are allocated to Sherbourne, your application form will be passed to the Residential Life Team who read all the information you have provided to assign you to a room and decide who to group you together with.

Offers of accommodation are then sent out (to the email address you provided) in late August/early September 2017 so please make sure you have access to it at this time .

Apply below using our dedicated Warwick IFP accommodation booking form. This form is only accessible to Warwick IFP offer-holders and is not available to students holding offers for any other Warwick programme (e.g. undergraduate or postgraduate study).
